2017 Block Party – VBS Kickoff June 25th at 6pm
Block Party to Kick off a Fun Filled week of Learning about God’s Word is this Sunday at 6pm. Along with pre-registration for VBS, kids and parents alike can enjoy music, food, popcorn, face-painting, storyboards, crafts and tons of fun. Come out and join us at 6pm for a Fun Filled Fellowship at our New Location on 959!
Workers need to be there at 4pm to setup canopies and different areas for events.
VBS is scheduled all this week for 6pm to 8:45pm, come on out and join us!!!
Graveyard Working~ May 28th, 2017
Each year Mt. Zion hosts the “Graveyard Working”. These are held on the 4th Sunday Morning in May and are at the Harris Chapel Cemetery. Mt. Zion Baptist host a covered dish picnic for families of those who have loved ones in the cemetery as well as church members. Bro. Weaver will give a memorial day message and we’ll all Fellowship. Now that we’re at our Harris Chapel locations – we can’t wait to join in on volunteering and fellowship as we take care of the resting place for those who are “Resting In the Arms of Jesus”!
Mission Meals Every 4th Sunday Jan thru May
Our Mission meals usually follow on the 4th Sunday (January thru May).
Mission meal is served following the Church Service at noon and is served on a donation basis, with all the money going towards our Mission trip to Colorado this summer and our Tailgate Outreach Mission in the fall.

Powerplus Youth Camp in Piney Woods – Week of July 3rd, 2017
